Ann Waggoner Atchison

SPEARMAN - Ann Waggoner Atchison, 96, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church 
with John Scott officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in 
Russell Cemetery in Russell, Okla., by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Atchison was born Oct. 4, 1903, in Olustee, Okla. She was a 
longtime resident of the area. She married R.A. "Jack" Atchison in 
1927 in Altus, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church 
of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980, and a son, D.L. 
Atchison.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Diana Rhinehart of Lake Palestine; 
a grandson, Danny Atchison of Odessa; four sisters, Mabel York, Hazel 
Settles and Oma Stinson, all of Amarillo, and Edith King of Oklahoma 
City; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be for family use and may be sent to 
the funeral home, P.O. Box 246, Spearman, TX 79081.
