Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Springlake Cemetery with Denny Sneed, minister of the Church of Christ of Earth, officiating. Arrangements are by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home. Mr. Barden was born in Altus, Okla. He moved to Springlake in 1944 from Tipton, Okla. He married Virginia McCleskey in 1956 at Clovis, N.M. Mr. Barden served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ of Earth. Survivors include three daughters, Dawn Williams of Muleshoe, Jill Barnard of Wakita, Okla., and Carrie Barden of Littlefield; two sisters, Sue Hollingsworth of Hereford and Arwilda Harrington of Greeley, Colo.; a brother, Dean Barden of Greeley; and two grandsons.
