All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Floydada Cemetery--Floydada TX FLOYDADA - William Lowell Bilbrey, 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Floydada Cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mr. Bilbrey was born in Olustee, Okla., and attended schools in Hollis, Okla., where he graduated from high school. He lived in Lockney for 20 years and he was a police officer. In 1992, he retired as Justice of the Peace in Floydada. Mr. Bilbrey moved to Floydada in 1969. He was a veteran of the Marines. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Floydada and Hollis Baptist Church. He married Wanda Joye Pence in 1948 at Childress. She died in 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Atkinson of Plainview and LaDonna Waltman of Ashland City, Tenn; a sister, Wilma Robertson of Midland; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family suggest memorials be to Hospice Hands of West Texas, 103 S. Main St., Lockney, TX 79241.
