Edra Elizabeth Bridges

CLOVIS, N.M. - Edra Elizabeth Bridges, 85, died Saturday, May 2, 
1998.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Trinity United 
Methodist Church in Clovis with the Rev. Ron Brewer officiating. 
Burial will be at 4 p.m. (CDT) in Hale Center Cemetery in Hale 
Center, Texas by Muffley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bridges was born in Altus, Okla. She was a cosmetologist, a 
member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Trinity Delightful 
Dozen, Senior Citizens and the Woodmen of the World Auxiliary.

She married Floyd Melvin Bridges in 1933 at Clovis. He died in 1992. 
She also was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Bridges, in 1942.

Survivors include a daughter, Dollie Chase of Clovis; three sisters, 
Lorene Jefferies of Hale Center, and Hope Elliott and Earlene 
Lovvorn, both of Clovis; two grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.

The family request memorials be to the Trinity United Methodist 
Church.
