Brown, 68, a former Amarillo resident, died Thursday, July 2, 1998. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dick Marcear, minister of Central Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Brown was born in Duke, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo from 1965 until 1975. She moved to Abilene and later to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She had been employed as a bookkeeper/dispatcher for a trucking company in Amarillo. Mrs. Brown retired in 1993 from the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patti Ann Whitten, and a son, Richard Dale Brown. Survivors include a son, Cliff Brown of Richardson; a brother, Ray Hulsey of Amarillo; and two grandchildren.
