Joe Wesley Brown

McLEAN - Joe Wesley Brown, 84, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Hillcrest Cemetery 
with the Rev. James Martindale, pastor of First Baptist Church, 
officiating. Arrangements are by Lamb Funeral Home of McLean.

Mr. Brown was born in Titus County. He retired in 1989 after 42 years 
as a pumper in the oil fields. He then engaged in farming and 
ranching in Wheeler and Gray counties until his death. He was a 
member of First Baptist Church.

He married Beatrice Brown in 1939 at Sayre, Okla. They made their 
home in the Kellerville, Pakan and McLean areas.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ada Durham of Groom; a son, 
Dan Brown of San Diego; two granddaughters; and six great-
grandchildren.

Viewing will be today and until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Lamb Funeral 
Home.
