::Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery--Borger TX

BORGER - Fern Cannon, 88, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Bible Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the 
Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / 
Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Cannon was born in Carrollton and moved to Borger in 1947. She 
was employed in housekeeping at North Plains Hospital and was a 
member of Central Baptist Church.

She married C.E. Cannon in 1930 at Altus, Okla. He died in 1989. She 
was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lena Mitchell, in 1999, a 
son, Willie Cannon, in 1998, and two grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Calvin Cannon of Borger; two daughters, Sue 
Chambers and Patricia Aker, both of Borger; 12 grandchildren; 12 
great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. 
Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101.
