Earl Sims Chapman

Earl Sims Chapman, 76, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood 
Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Kevin Naillieux officiating. Burial 
will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mr. Chapman grew up in Elmer, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1960. 
He married Juanita on April 16, 1947, in Odell. He worked for 
Blackburns clothing store for 33 years in the shoe department. He was 
residing at the Prairie House Living Center in Plainview.

He was preceded in death a brother, Troy Chapman in 2001, and his 
parents.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Earl "Bob" Chapman and 
wife, Laquita, of Plainview; a brother, Kenneth Chapman of Altus, 
Okla.; grandchildren, Brent and Vonda Chapman, Krystal and Bobby 
Ovalle and Andrew and Traci Goodrun, all of Amarillo; and great-
grandchildren, Brennan, Cole and Brady Chapman and Kymbree and Camren 
Ovalle, all of Amarillo.
