All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Altus Times 2 May 2004 Chase Richard "Dick" Chase, 64, died peacefully after a short illness April 26, 2004 at Flagler Memorial Hospital, Palm Coast, Fla. Richard was born in Holbrook, Mass. to Alton F. and Myrtle Chase on September 22, 1939. He retired from the United States Air Force in December 1985 as a CMSGT after serving his country for 29 years. Following his retirement he became a flight operations instructor for Eastern Airlines in Miami. He loved teaching and was well respected by the many people that he trained. In the last years of his life he lovingly took care of his wife Marge. He was a long time resident of Altus. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Richard Jr. "Dickie". He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marge; one son, Michael Chase and wife, Brenda of Palm Coast; two daughters, Sheila Whipkey of Miami, Kathy James and husband, Robbie of Altus. Seven grandchildren: Trish and Leslie Whipkey, Summer and Jay Aldridge, Brittany Chase, and Kelsey and Ryan James.
