"Pete" 1924 - 2005 E.Y. "Pete" Cunningham, 80, departed this life Friday, April 22, 2005, from his home in Canyon Lake. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: The family welcomes friends to the viewing Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, 2401 Scott Ave., Fort Worth 76103. E.Y. "Pete" Cunningham was born Nov. 13, 1924, in Blair, Okla. He was a resident of Fort Worth from 1945 to 1979, when he moved to Canyon Lake to spend his retirement years. Pete married the love of his life, Edna Mae Preslar, in 1945 and spent 59 years sharing a life of contentment with her. Together they raised five children in Fort Worth. Pete's life centered around his family and he enjoyed nature in many ways. He was a World War II veteran and provided service to Greyhound Bus Lines for 35 years. Survivors: Wife, Mae; sons, Ronnie and wife, Nancy of Fort Worth, Raymond and wife, Mary Jean of Helotes, Mark and wife, Tonja of Houston; daughters, Sharon Monger and husband, Mike of Fort Worth and Brenda Wiseman and husband, Bill of Missouri City; grandsons, Michael, Phil, Curtis, Brett, Scott and Kip; granddaughters, Chris, Angela, Robin and Cami; great-grandchild, Sofia; brothers, John and Joe; sister, Marcelline Culliton; and many nieces and nephews.
