Vaneta Daily

Vaneta Daily, 81, of Amarillo, died Monday, June 7, 1999. 

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Kirkland Cemetery 
at Kirkland with the Rev. John Gillispie, of First Baptist Church at 
Benjamin, and Steven Waterhouse, pastor of Westcliff Bible Church, 
officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. 
Georgia.

Mrs. Daily was born in Atoka and raised in rural Hardeman and 
Childress counties. She moved to Amarillo in 1956 and to El Paso in 
1965. She returned to Amarillo in 1974. She was a homemaker. 

She married Robert R. Daily in 1939 at Eldorado, Okla. He died in 
January, 1998.

Survivors include a son, Robert R. Daily Jr. of Amarillo; a brother, 
Jack C. Mock of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren. 

The family requests memorials be to Goodwill Industries, 209 E. 17th 
Ave., Amarillo, TX 79102.
