All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Yukon Cemetery--Yukon OK Duncan, Tommy Vernon On January 13, 2003 Tommy Vernon Duncan, 60 of Yukon, left this earth after a sudden illness. He was born on February 27, 1942 in Duke, Oklahoma, to W.C. and Berdyne Duncan. He graduated from Binger High School in 1960, and also attended SWOSU. He was a member of the associated General Contractors of Oklahoma, Professional Construction Estimators's Association, and Christ's Church of Yukon. Tommy also served in U.S. Army. During his career, he worked for the State Highway Dept. Standard Testing, Curtis Foundation Drilling and ADG. At the time of his death he was business development manager/ estimator for PSI of OKC. His work with ADG on the Bricktown Ballpark was one of his proudest accomplishments. Tommy enjoyed summers at Lake Murray with his children and grandchildren and loved telling jokes and playing pranks on his friends and family. He lit up the room with his love of life and humor. All who knew him will dearly miss him. Preceded in death by his parents, Tommy is survived by his wife of 23 years, Alice Margaret of the home; one son, Tommy Wayne Duncan and wife Julie of Yukon; one daughter, Robbie Flinn and husband Bobby of Mountain View; two step-daughters, Missy Mason and husband Steve of Yukon and Kandee Penwright and husband Jon of Yukon; one sister, Paula Patton, and husband Al of Liberal KS, thirteen grandchildren, Randi, Corey, and Carri Duncan, Cale and Kenton Flinn, Kody and Lacey Meder, Hayden and Heather Penwright, Trey Roper, Hunter Jones and Christian and Gina Mason and one nephew, Justin Patton of El Reno. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Yukon Mobile Meals. Services will be held at Christ's Church of Yukon, 115 Briarwood, at 1:00 pm, Thursday January 16, 2003, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
