"Bud" Robert E. "Bud" Gastineau, 70, a great father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at a local hospital. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Robert was born Nov. 30, 1935, in Vici, Okla., to Letha Irene Mercer and Gilbert Riley Gastineau. He was employed by the Boeing Aircraft Co. as an aircraft mechanic, living in Altus, Okla., and in other locations across the United States. Bud's hobbies include square dancing. He will be missed by many. We all love him dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Sue Gastineau; infant brother, Gilbert Riley Gastineau Jr.; both parents; and grandparents, J.W. and Lura Mercer of Camp Creek, Okla. Survivors: Daughter, Karen Sue Underhill and husband, Daniel, of Arlington; son, Bobby Gastineau Jr. and Teresa O'Bannon of Fort Worth; foster daughter, Connie Finley; grandson, Robert John Gastineau; foster grandchildren, Tyson and Tayton Finley of Fort Worth; brothers, Glenn Gastineau of Clinton, Okla., Gail Gastineau of Bullard and Arlen Gastineau of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Nada Manges of San Antonio; aunt, Imajean Hulck of Vici, Okla.; uncles, Lyndon Mercer of Kingfisher, Okla., and Ron Mercer of Edmond, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
