Ruby Gover

DALHART - Ruby Gover, 91, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park 
Cemetery with Dean Whaley, minister of the Dalhart Church of Christ, 
officiating. Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gover was born Feb. 4, 1913, in Olustee, Okla., to John W. and 
Bertha McNamara Sturgess. She married Roy Gover in Tipton, Okla., on 
Jan. 9, 1940.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Gover Whitson of Pittsburg; a 
son, Donald Gover of Beach Bluff, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, two of 
whom she raised, Mabe and Monty King of Amarillo; and 10 great-
grandchildren.
