Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Carey Baptist Church at Carey with the Rev. S.L. Yeilding officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Hackler was born in Cook County. He was a farmer and served on the boards of the Farmers Coop Gin and Gate City Electric. He also had served as director of the Farm Bureau. He married Lola Newman in 1930 at Altus, Okla. Survivors include his wife; and three brothers, Bailey Hackler of Plainview, and Monroe Hackler and Howard Hackler, both of Childress.
