Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Main Street Church of Christ with Rick Harper, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Olton Cemetery by Foskey-LilleyMcGill Funeral Home. Mr. Lawson was born in Hess, Okla. He moved to Olton from Hollis, Okla., in 1926. He attended Olton schools. He had been a farmer for 70 years and was employed by the Circle Gin. He was a member of Main Street Church of Christ and Olton Masonic Lodge No. 1247. He served on the board of directors of the Olton Gin Co-op Board and the Federal Land Bank board in Littlefield for 26 years. He married Marie Miller in 1938 at Plainview. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jim Lawson and Gary Lawson, both of Olton; a daughter, Carolyn Little of Austin; a sister, Edisy Hackler of Olton; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
