All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Green Lawn Southwest Memorial Park Cemetery--Bakersfield CA Cecil "Tooter" Ledbetter 1921 - 2006 Cecil (Tooter) Ledbetter Dec. 27, 1921 Jan. 1, 2006 Services: Thurs., Jan. 5, 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln., on Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. to honor Cecil Ledbetter. Services will be officiated by Pastor Tony Ante. Cecil was born in Altus, Oklahoma on December 27, 1921 and he passed away on January 1, 2006. He was preceeded in death by his daughter, Diane and his wife, Mildred. He is survived by his three daughters; Loretta and Charles Reese, Barbara and Mike Bradshaw, and Debi and Darrell Sizemore. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Tim Reese, Tammy Stevenson, Kim Pruett, Darrin Jones, Jeff LaFever, Michelle Sheppard, Brandie Nighbert, Christie Gresham, and Brian Gresham, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Cecil was a proud veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He loved fishing and he always had his pole and tackle box ready. He enjoyed Taking trips back to Texas to visit with his family. He liked to go riding around on his scooter to visit with his friends. He never met a stranger and he had so many stories to tell. We all have many great memories of Grandpa, the favorite seems to be going to work with him when we were kids. We will Miss you Grandpa. The family would like to give a very special thanks to the Bakersfield Dialysis Center for the compassionate care you gave our Daddy over the last 16 years, he loved you all and considered everyone there family. A special thanks to Chris Lupient, you were a comfort to Dad as well as us. Michael your love and time you gave to your grandpa will be repaid to you in many ways throughout your life. It meant a lot to him. We love you Daddy. Give mom a big hug and kiss from us. Barbara and Debi Thank you for taking such great care of our Grandpa.
