All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rock Cemetery--Duke OK Lawton Constitution 12 Jan 2003 Freddie Leonard ELDORADO — Graveside service for Freddie Leonard, 58, Eldorado, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rock Cemetery, north of Duke, with the Rev. Marty Barnes officiating. Mr. Leonard died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at his home. Arrangements are under direction of Kincannon Funeral Home, Altus. He was born April 24, 1944, in Olustee to Archie D. and Dortha L. Atkinson Leonard. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his class from Duke High School in 1962. He married Linda Hooper on July 9, 1962, in Duke. He entered the U.S. Army in 1968 and served in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his friend and companion, Shirley Mason, Eldorado; two daughters and sons-in-laws: Kimberly and Michael Maahs, Altus; and Michelle and David Putnam, Duke; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Pam and Preston Howze, Duke; and Susan and Jimmy Childs, Altus; his mother, Duke; five grandchildren: Marty and Mason Maahs; and Tristan, Baylee, and Jamie Putnam; and many friends.
