All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************* Mary Juanita (Winfrey) Luginbyhl, 82, beloved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2007. She retired after 35 years with Bethany Medical Clinic and Don`s Pharmacy. She was very proud to have served on the home front during WWII as a `Rosie the Riveter` at Tinker Field where she repaired bullet holes in B17 bombers. She was also very proud of her membership in the DAR. Her great-great-grandfather, Solomon Tuttle Sr., served with Ethan Allen at the taking of Ft. Ticonderoga and after the war founded Athens, Ohio. Her great-grandmother, Cyrena Abigail (Tuttle) Woods, was the second-to-last Real Daughter of the American Revolution to die. Juanita was born April 22, 1924 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Effie Goforth; her first husband, Plen E. Winfrey Jr.; and husband, Carl C. Luginbyhl. She is survived by her children, Jim Winfrey and wife Marilyn, Jerry Winfrey, David Winfrey and wife Debbie; sisters, Wilma Lee of Bethany, Judy Vandever of California; brothers, James Goforth, Don Goforth and wife Olga, David Goforth and wife Karen, Dale Goforth and wife Barbara, all of Oklahoma City; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Jimmy Winfrey, Marilee Budai and husband Bill, Wayne Winfrey and wife Valerie, Jeff Winfrey and wife Carol, Justin Winfrey and wife Julie, Brian Winfrey, Nathan Winfrey, Ryan Winfrey; as well as 6 great-grandchildren, Annalynn Budai, Taylor, Tanner, Payton, Jacob and Gabe Winfrey. The family will greet friends at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 5. Services will be Saturday, January 6, 10:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
