Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Young officiating. Burial will be in Goodlett Cemetery at Goodlett by Price-Jackson Funeral Home of Quanah. Mr. McGuire was born in Quanah and married Verna Jo Anderson in 1941 at Altus, Okla. He had lived in Hardeman County all of his life. Mr. McGuire had retired as a supervisor with the Georgia Pacific Railway. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, American Association of Retired Persons and the Breakfast Club. Mr. McGuire was an Army veteran who served in the Philippines during World War II. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Judy Dow of Mountain Home, Idaho; two sisters, Josie B. Brown of Vernon and Lea Marie Neeley of Asher, Okla.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
