HEADRICK — Funeral for Eldon Morrison, 84, Headrick, will be at 2 p.m. today at House of Prayer Church, Blair, with the Rev. Joe Dodson officiating. Mr. Morrison died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, in Headrick. Burial will be at Altus City Cemetery under direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home, Lone Wolf. He was born Oct. 22, 1917, in Coal County to Archie and Mamie Evans Morrison. He married Ruby Anderson on April 11, 1936, in Coalgate. She died in February 1985. He married Leona Rotenberry in May 1987, and she died in October 1997. He lived in Jackson County for 52 years and was a retired farmer. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Gene, of the home; Rick and Tawna Morrison, Lawton; and Mitchel and Kim Morrison, Ruffs Dale, Pa.; four daughters and sons-in-law: Etta and R.L. McKee, Blair; Virginia and Fred Carlucci, Altus; Betty and Len King, Newberry, Mich.; and Joan and Philip Stevens, Hominy; one sister, Gladys Burden; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, one great- great-grandson; many other relatives and friends.
