::Delhi Cemetery--Delhi TX

O.E. Nix

PLAINVIEW - O.E. "Gene" Nix, 70, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Delhi Cemetery in 
Caldwell County with the Rev. Kenneth Baker officiating. Arrangements 
are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mr. Nix was born in Eldorado, Okla., and moved to Plainview in 1964 
from Corpus Christi. He was store manager for Eaton-Craig Stationery 
until his retirement in 1993. He served with the Navy during the 
Korean War and was a member of College Heights Baptist Church and 
Plainview Noon Lions Club.

He married Barbara Joan Cripen in 1954 at Corpus Christi.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Eugene Nix of North Pole, 
Alaska; a daughter, Carla Nix of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two 
grandchildren.
