Visitation: December 27, 2002 Service: December 28, 2002 Cemetery: Jennings Cemetery [Photo included] Odessa Fay Kline was born August 7, 1920 in Headrick, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William Robert and Ada Eliza Wallen. Odessa was raised in the Fredrick, Altus and Headrick areas, attending school in Headrick. Shortly after completion of her schooling at the age of sixteen, Odessa was married to Delbert Hollard Kline in Headrick on December 24, 1936. The couple made their initial home in Canyon, Texas and then moved to Greeley, Colorado and on to Estes Park. When Delbert retired, the couple purchased a home on a lake near Corpus Christi where they spent their winters and then returned to Colorado for the summers. Upon the death of her husband, Odessa remained in Corpus Christi until she moved to Cleveland in June of 2002 to be near her daughter and grandchildren. Odessa loved to spend time outdoor, especially fishing. She was an avid dancer but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed peanut butter. Odessa passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at the Cleveland Area Hospital at the age of eighty-two years, four months and eighteen days. In addition to her husband, Delbert, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Linda Fay McFarland; and three brothers, J.C., Ted and Claude. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Joy and Bill Turner of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Robert and Arlene Kline of Havasu City, Arizona; sister, Iva Priddy of Montgomery, Alabama; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2002 at the Western Heights Baptist Church with Rev. David Head officiating.
