Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Freedom Baptist Church with Robert Bennett, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Pruitt was born in Eldorado, Okla. He moved to Amarillo from Altus, Okla., in 1983. He served with the Air Force for four years in communications. He served in the Army reserves as an ambulance driver. He had worked as a paint contractor for the past 30 years. He married Beverly Van Cleave in 1978 in Vernon. Bobby had the biggest heart. He is very loved by family and friends and will be missed by many. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Robin Joy Pruitt of Evansville, Ind., and Tara Jayne Pruitt of Amarillo; four sons, Robby Lane Joy Pruitt of Port Charles, Fla., Jay Anthony Pruitt of Boonville, Ind., Patrick Carl Pruitt of Cypress, Calif., and Justin Blane Pruitt of Tucson, Ariz.; four sisters, Rita Futrell, Willa Warren and Lana Duncan, all of Amarillo, and Yvonne Fiorentini of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Kenneth Pruitt of Hemet, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
