Ernestine Edwards Rowland

QUANAH - Ernestine Edwards Rowland, 71, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997, 
in Altus, Okla.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the Church of Christ with Lyndal 
Werner officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Price-
Jackson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rowland was born in the Holeyann community. She lived in 
Hardeman County all of her life. She married Eugene Rowland in 1946 
at Quanah.

She had been a nurse's aide for many years for the Hardeman County 
Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Linda Hollenbaugh of 
Quanah, Judith Ball of Dallas and Vicki Ball of Denver; three 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family requests memorials be to Westview Boys Home.
