All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Memory Gardens Cemetery--Medford OR Nova Barbara Schlottmann The memorial service for Nova Barbara Schlottmann will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 456 W. Pine St., in Central Point. Mrs. Schlottmann, 89, of Central Point, died of natural causes in her own home, surrounded by family, including children and grandchildren. She was born January 6, 1918 to Clarence and Monte Riley in Altus, Okla. The family of nine left their Oklahoma cotton farm during the dust bowl era, coming West and settling in Oregon. She graduated from Beaverton High School in 1936, where she met a handsome young man, Elmer Emil Schlottmann. She enjoyed walking, sewing, square dancing, swimming, writing poetry, travel and the Trailblazers. She was well known amongst her family for her homemade applesauce. She is survived by her husband, Elmer, and her four children, and their families, Ron and Melanie Schlottmann, of Klamath Falls; Dan and Jeanie Schlottmann, of Salem; Nancy and Larry Lee, of San Jose, Calif.; and Joan and Wayne Tait, of Central Point. There are ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Arrangements by: Memory Gardens Mortuary 773-7338.
