Ruth Scott

DALHART - Ruth Scott, 77, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Hass Funeral Home Chapel with 
Joe Billups officiating. Burial will be in Santa Fe National Cemetery 
at Santa Fe, N.M.

Mrs. Scott was born in Eldorado, Okla., and attended school there. 
She had lived in Dalhart for the last 31 years. She served in the 
Army from 1941 to 1942. She worked as a cook.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Poyner of Mississippi and John Poyner 
of Dalhart; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
