Self, Geneva Lois

Geneva Lois Self Mar. 26. 1918 - June 11, 2007 Geneva was born in 
Victory, Oklahoma, on March 26, 1918, and passed away on June 11, 
2007. She was employed by Smith's Bakery for 25 years and belonged to 
the United Food Handlers Union. She was a longtime member of the 
Bakersfield Women's Club, and The Traveling Belles. She was preceded 
in death by her husband, Delbert Self; her daughter, Frances; and 
son-in-law, Glen Reynolds; her son, Jim; and by her 3 sisters. She is 
survived by her son, Joe Self; her daughters-in-law, Kay Gentry and 
Pat Reynolds; her grandchildren, Donna Egan, Mark Reynolds and Rob 
Reynolds. She also leaves 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-
grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 19th, from 4-8 p.m., 
at Hillcrest Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will be held 
on Wednesday, June 20th, 10:00 a.m., also at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
