Bill was born in Long Beach, California June 18, 1952 and lived in Bakersfield, California where he grew up, went to college and earned a degree in agriculture and later became a master plumber, heating and air conditioning tradesman and owner of Speilman's Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning Service for over twenty-years. He moved to Ozark with his wife to be closer to family and fell in love with the area. William was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Margaret Irene Speilman and grandparents Grover and Emma McGuirk and William G. and Mamye Speilman. He is survived by his wife Nancy Lindley Speilman of Ozark, his mother-in-law Dona Lindley Sossamon of Ozark, his brother Richard M. Speilman of Bakersfield, three brothers-in-law, George W. Lindley II and David L. Lindledy of Ozark and William Hobbs of Antioch, California. Three sisters-in-law, Dona Lisa Kelley and Tammy Lindley of Ozark and Wylie Hobbs of Antioch, California. Eleven nieces and nephews, Ken, Aki and Kevin Edens, Ashley and Davis Lindley, George (Trac) Lindley, Katie, Keven and James Kelley, and Joshua Lindley, and many aunts, unclews, cousins and friends. Services were held Sunday, October 8th, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Ozark with Rev. Alberta Helton of Allison, Texas officiating. Arrangements are under the director of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
