Stephens WICHITA FALLS - James E. "Jim'' Stephens, 70, died Monday, July 28, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Huff Funeral Chapel at Whitesboro with the Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at Whitesboro by Huff Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Mr. Stephens was born in Olustee, Okla. He moved to Wichita Falls from Whitesboro. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after more than 30 years as a lineman and installer. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, James R. Stephens of Van Buren, Ark.; a daughter, Pamela Martin of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Joseph Cozell Stephens of Gordonville and Kenneth R.
