All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Walker, Edith (Calvert) WALKER, Edith (Calvert) 1917-2007 A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at the Hillsdale Community Church located at 6948 SW Capitol Highway for Edith Walker who died, Aug. 27, 2007 at age 90. She was born July 24, 1917 in Eldorado, Okla. where she graduated from high school. Her first husband Jack Lynn Woodruff died in 1943. She married John M. Calvert in 1945; he died in 1979. She is survived by George Walker whom she married in 1983. A retired beautician, she did volunteer work at Emanuel Hospital in Portland and Salem Hospital for over ten years. Besides her husband George; survivors include her children; Joyce Scott and Earl Woodruff; stepdaughters Kathy Walker and Marlene Budde; sister Mickie Davis; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Stepson David Calvert and three sisters preceded her in death. Before her stroke ten years ago she was the consummate hostess for many family gatherings. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Remembrances to Providence Hospice.
