Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eastside Church of Christ with Ron Stough and Greg Clauson officiating. Graveside services will be held in Restlawn Cemetery in Altus at 2:30 p.m. with Bill Osborne officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan. Watson was born July 23, 1917, in Doole, Texas, to Robert and Dora Brown and grew up in Wise County, Texas, until adulthood before moving to Oklahoma. She was married to R.D. Watson of Olustee and lived in Jackson County most of her life. She was a homemaker until her children were grown. She worked for Wilson's Department Store and The Surrey Shop in Altus until moving to Duncan in 1979. She was employed for a short time at Hager's Manufacturing in Duncan and the Duncan Public Schools at Emerson Cafeteria. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, having worshipped at congregations in Olustee, Altus and Duncan. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Ron O'Brien of Duncan, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Watson of Rose Hill, Kan.; grandchildren James O'Brien, Marni Clauson and husband Greg of Duncan, Shaun Watson and wife Stacy of Germantown, Tenn., and Tyler and Megan Miller of Augusta, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews. Watson was preceded in death by husband R.D. in 1986 and son Roger in 1995, her parents, four sisters and two brothers. Bearers will be Ron Smith, Richard Bennett, Todd Miller, Shaun Watson, Caleb Clauson and Cody Clauson.
