Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Melrose Church of Christ with Otho Rogers and Raymon Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis. Mr. Widner was born Aug. 6, 1912, in Olustee, Okla. He married Audrey Pinkston on Dec. 23, 1937. Survivors include three sons, Monte Edwards of Augusta, W.Va., Harvey Widner of Duncanville, Texas, and Jimmy Widner of Willmar, Minn.; two daughters, Donna Burch of Amarillo, Texas, and Connie Fischer of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Nellie Mae Slack and Opal House, both of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
