Stolen Car Returned and Clues Found Which May Lead to Identification of Men The Nash sedan taken from W. W. WOODWORTH by the bandits who successfully held up the First National Bank on Wednesday night of last week was found early Thursday morning in a mud hole between Lindsay and Pauls Valley. It was returned to Mr. Woodworth Thursday night. The car served as an absolute verification of the belief that JOE EVANS that the men who kidnapped him were in Woodworth's car. Seven bullet holes were found in it, three of which, it is believed, were put there by the bandits and three by Evans. The car occupied by only one man stuck in the mud hole about day break Thursday morning and he abandoned the car after several persons attempted to help him out, but failed. The man left afoot and has not been seen nor heard of since. … Joe Evans is still of the opinion there was a woman in the back seat of the car at the time of the shooting. MRS.
