Card of Thanks to friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us during 
the illness of our baby daughter; Mr. and Mrs. WARN CARGILL, Mr. and Mrs. 
ARTHUR CARGILL, Mr. and Mrs. RICHARD CARGILL, Mr. and Mrs. GUY CARGILL, 
Mr. and Mrs. TODE CARGILL, MISS MARY JOY CARGILL, Mrs. MYRTLE ENLOW/INLOW.
FLOYD ALFRED SMITH
Funeral service was held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the LEE SMITH home 
for little FLOYD ALFRED SMITH, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. N. SMITH of the 
Claypool community. He was nine years, ten months, eight days old. He had 
been in serious condition about two weeks with typhoid. He leaves, besides 
his parents, three sister, and four brothers and many friends and 
relatives who mourn his departure.
The Home Ec. II girls gave a birthday breakfast last week for MADGE TAYLOR 
and OUIDA COLSON. It was a very delightful meal carried out in the colors 
of yellow, green and orchid. EVA ALLEN was host, NADINE WRIGHT and DUTCH 
NEIGLE were critics, LOYCIE ROSE was waitress, and BURNIE MORRIS and CLARA 
DELL PHILLIPS were cooks.
