::Mission Garden of Memories--Clovis NM

Roy N. Anderson

CLOVIS, N.M. - Roy N. Anderson, 96, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Assembly of God with Terry 
Bell, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories by 
Steed-Todd Funeral Home.

Mr. Anderson was born in Waurika, Okla. He moved to New Mexico in 1906 
with his parents and was a homesteader south of Grier. He married Inez 
Bobo in 1932 at Clovis. He was a carpenter, farmer and inventor. He was a 
member of First Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Nels E. Anderson of Clovis; three 
daughters, Ruth Cline McCormick and Barbara A. Neal, both of Clovis, and 
Vickie L. Alexander of Sanger, Texas; a brother, Clarence Anderson of 
Mountain Home, Idaho; a sister, Myrtle Coats of Escondido, Calif.; 11 
grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
