All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Louis Cartwright Boulware Louis Cartwright Boulware, 68 year old farmer and stockman, died at a Duncan hospital Sunday afternoon at 3:25 o'clock after suffered a stroke of paralysis Thursday morning and being confined to the hospital since that time. Funeral services were held at Immanuel Baptist Church Monday afternoon with Rev Frank Sutton officiating. Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery. Boulware was born in Vernon County, Missouri May 1, 1872, coming to Indian Territory about 60 years ago where he settled between Ryan and Terral. He removed to Texas for a brief period and for the past 13 years lived near Duncan. Survivors included: Mrs Synthia Boulware, his widow. Children: B H Boulware of Duncan, Mrs H C David of Leadman, Missouri, Mrs Y E (Burnice Janet) Turbo of Pampa, Texas, A T Boulware of Amarillo, Texas, and Mrs Robert Stewart also of Amarillo. There is also a grandson Cecil Boulware of Dumas, a granddaughter Mrs Mary Lee Absher of Dumas and her daughter. L B and J L Boulware of Duncan are nephews. Rangeley Goodman Funeral home conducted the services.
