Memorial service was held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, in United Methodist Church with the Rev. Trevor Smith and Pastor James Miller officiating. Renay Ann Bridges was born March 14, 1955, in Lawton, to Walter and Bessie Capes. She was blessed with two daughters. Renay and Don Bridges were married Feb. 1, 1995, in Waurika. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and loved her family. Survivors include her adopted brother, Harry Capes; brother-in-law, Everett Delaney and wife, Phylis; a niece, Jaquie Phillips and a nephew, Phillip Shearer both of Ponca City; two daughters: Sandra Houston of Comanche and Shelley Thompson of Duncan; her parents, Walter and Bessie Capes of Waurika; a sister, Phylis Delaney of Ponca City; two grandchildren: Samantha Allen of Comanche, and her father, Jimmy Allen, and Zachary Thompson of Duncan, and his father, Darren Thompson. ======== Waurika News-Democrat 6 Sep 2006 Renay Ann Capes Bridges March 14, 1955 - Aug. 22, 2006 HASTINGS - Renay Ann Bridges, 51, passed from this life Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006.
