Clymer, 78, a retired locomotive engineer, passed away Friday, June 23, 2006. Service: Jim was a private man. In keeping with his directions, there will be no public memorial service. His ashes and those of his life's partner, Wanda, will be taken to sea for a family memorial. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, those interested may make a donation in his name to a charitable organization of donor's choice. Jim was born Feb. 16, 1928, and attended school in Waurika, Okla. He married his childhood sweetheart, Wanda Faye Pierce, and the newlyweds moved to Fort Worth. Here they started a family of two sons and one daughter. Jim worked as an engineer 40 years before retiring and taking his wife to Port Aransas to relax in the warm sunshine. Port Aransas was his favorite place to do his favorite thing, people watch. He was the finest father a son could wish for and his sons considered themselves lucky. Survivors: Sister, Juanita Cain; sons, James K. Clymer and Stuart N. Clymer; daughters-in-law, Susan and Daisy; grandchildren, Eric, Natalie Cress and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Jocelynn, Haven and Liam.
