Cummins Ringling Eagle, March 1926 Ringling, Jefferson County, Oklahoma On the afternoon of March 4, 1926, Mrs. Julia E. Cummins quietly resigned to the call to vacate her earthly tabernacle and repair to that home above not made with hands, eternal in heaven. Mrs. Cummins has been with her daughter Mrs. N.A. Dulaney in Ringling for several years… Coosa County, Alabama …the birthplace of this noble Christian character and 1840 is the year of her birth. She professed the Christian religion at the age of 15 years and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church which was the church of her parents, this was after the family had moved to Texas in 1847. On May 2, 1860, she was married to J.G. Cummins and lived in Texas until the year of 1888, when the family came to the Indian Territory… The community about Ringling and Healdton was her home after coming to the new country… Mrs. Cummins was the mother of 5 children, J. A. Cummins and B. S. Cummins preceded her across the river of life as did her husband J. G. Cummins. Her daughters are Mrs. W. H. Hurst of Antonio, Colorado, Mrs. M. A. Morgan of Norman and Mrs. N. A Dulaney of Ringling. Surviving her are also 23 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one brother Robert S. Donald of Decatur, Texas and two sisters, Mrs. J. P. Fullingin of Decatur and Mrs. E. L. Harrell of Denton, Texas…. Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon, led by Rev. J.
