Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. F.M. Byford of Paramount Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Dillard was born in Hastings, Okla. She graduated from high school in Waurika, Okla., and attended Oklahoma College for Women. She moved to Amarillo in 1942. Mrs. Dillard was employed for 28 years as a special education teacher's aide with the Amarillo Independent School District. She served at the Paramount and Lamar elementary schools. She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. She married George Dillard in 1942 at Waurika. She was preceded in death by a son, George N. Dillard Jr., in 1997. Survivors include her husband; a son, Tim Dillard of Amarillo; three sisters, Patty Brann and Betty Reeder, both of Buena Vista, Ark., and Barbara Richardson of Waurika; a brother, Sammy Reynolds of Lake Charles, La.; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. The family will be at 3908 Linda.
