"Dub" Dark, 80, of Duncan died Monday, Nov. 18, 2002, in Wilkins Nursing Center. Service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with John Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Mr. Dark was born March 17, 1922, in Velma, to Clarence and Della Allred Dark. He married Margie Johnson on Sept. 11, 1962, in Waurika. She preceded him in death on May 31, 2001. Mr. Dark worked at Sun-Ray Refinery for many years. He enjoyed playing poker with friends and growing banana trees. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Amy Dark of Tennessee; a stepson, Bob Hall of Duncan; a daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Chris Adams of Duncan; a brother, Cleburn Dark of Arizona; four grandchildren, Randi Dark, Steven Dark, Clint Adams and Cody Adams; and a step grandson, Chris Hall. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Haskell Dark, and a sister, Juanita Ginn.
