All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 17 Mar 2003 Rena Ida Ewing CACHE — Funeral for Rena Ida Ewing, 91, Cache, will be at 11 a.m. today at New Life Assembly of God, Cache, with the Rev. Don Middleton, pastor of Southside Assembly of God, Lawton, officiating. Mrs. Ewing died Thursday, March 13, 2003, in Cache. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Terral Cemetery under direction of Whinery- Huddleston Funeral Service. She was born Jan. 10, 1912, in Bowie, Texas, to Bertie and Ambrose Buchanan. She grew up in Terral, where she married Richard Ewing on Nov. 22, 1933. She lived and worked in Lawton, where she retired from Wackers. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God for 40 years, where she taught Sunday school. Survivors include three daughters: Carol Cullins and Fern Burch and her husband Jerry, all from Cache; and Judy Tate and her husband Sonny, Liberal, Kan.; a son, Bobby Ewing and his wife, Loretta, Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Cuba Williams, Cache; 15 grandchildren: Beverly Dodson and Clay Miller and his wife, Bobbie, all of Oklahoma City; Billy Cullins and his wife, Cindy; Brent Cullins and his wife, Terra; Rickey Cullins; Tammi Hall and her husband Joseph; Michelle Robertson; Jeri Mansel; Joni Ward and her husband Rick, all of Cache; Jamie Burch and his wife, Tammy, Lawton; Sheri Wheeler and Jeff Ewing and his wife, Kim, all of Amarillo, Texas; Greg Ewing and his wife, Kim, Panhandle, Texas; Jeff Tate and Jennifer Sylvia and her husband Robbie, all of Vinita; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Hermon Buchanan; and a great-grandson, Camden Hall.
