Leona Enos

PLAINVIEW - Leona Enos, 72, died Sunday, June 13, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. 
Phillip Jones, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn 
Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.

Mrs. Enos was born and raised in Ryan, Okla., where she attended 
school. In 1952, she moved to Plainview. She was a volunteer worker 
for the Eleanor Griffin Training Center and Faith In Sharing House.

Mrs. Enos attended Calvary Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for 
many years. She was president of the Residence Council at Heritage 
Home.

She married Woodrow Enos in 1942 at Waurika, Okla. He died in 1989.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Shugart of Plainview and Cathy 
McKinzie of Odessa; two sons, Denney Woodrow Enos of Big Spring and 
Davis Enos of Plainview; three brothers, James Dale Hughes of 
Plainview, Harold Dean Hughes of Clarendon and Billy Bob Hughes of 
Sydney, Neb.; two sisters, Lorene Vanzant of Tucson and Bonnie Ann 
Howard of Lipan; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
