Goldsmith, 75, of Amarillo died Saturday, June 15, 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. James Rankin, of Eastridge Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors provided by Amarillo D.A.V. Chapter No. 26. Mr. Goldsmith was born July 8, 1925, in Ringling, Okla. He was a veteran of the Navy and served in World War II. He was a member of Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. Survivors include a daughter, Carla Smith of Amarillo; four sons, Ricky Goldsmith of Dallas, Jerry Goldsmith and Michael Goldsmith, both of California, and Kenneth Ray Goldsmith of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a special dear friend, Billie White of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice; IHS; or the Senior Citizens Association of Amarillo. Amarillo Globe-News, June 17, 2002
