::Memorial Park Cemetery--Amarillo TX

Norman Harris

Norman "N.E" Harris, 86, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel 
of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with David Shahan officiating. Burial 
will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Harris was born in Cornish, Okla. A stock analyst, he was employed by 
Halliburton Oil Well and Cement Co., in Duncan, Okla., for 28 years. He 
retired in 1969. In 1972, he moved to Amarillo where he was affiliated 
with the A-OK Camper Park. He was a Baptist.

He married Vasta Corbin in 1937 at Duncan.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Terry Harris of Amarillo and Johnny 
Harris of Seminole; two daughters, Julia Ann Taylor of Lindsay, Okla., and 
Janet Sue Barnes of Falcon Head, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-
grandchildren.
