All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Pioneer Cemetery--Graham TX Kendall, Maxine Eaton 1910 - 2005 Maxine Eaton Kendall, 94, a retired accountant, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, in Graham. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. James C. Hill, pastor of First Baptist Church of Graham, officiating. Burial: will follow at Pioneer Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: At Maxine's request, memorial gifts may be made to Texas Baptists Children's Home, Box 7, Round Rock 78680-0007; or Solaris Hospice, 2250 South FM 51, Suite 400, Decatur 76234. Maxine was born July 13, 1910, in Purcell, Okla., to Perry Lee Eaton and Cora Josephine Bales Eaton. She married Otto Kendall Oct. 25, 1931, in Hastings, Okla. He preceded her in death June 19, 1984. Maxine was a gregarious, fun-loving person with an infectious sense of humor enjoyed by everyone around her. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Graham for 57 years and a committed Christian servant, who used her talents to help others. Maxine was past president and a longtime member of the Desk and Derrick Club and a Meals on Wheels and Clothes Closet volunteer. To know Maxine was to love her and she will be sorely missed. A sister, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also preceded her in death. Survivors: Nieces and nephews, Linda Myers of Pennsylvania, Sue Hewston of Florida, Hugh Kendall of Washington; cousins, Alan and Jenny Johns of Fort Worth, Frieda Kendall Johns, Del and Vicki Lee, Doug and Kim Kendall Steger, all of Graham, Marc and Julie Schmidt of Austin, Jessica Johns of Lubbock, Lee and Katie Biebighauser of Wichita Falls, Eric Lee of College Station, Kendall and Sunni Wells and Whitney Wells; dear friends, Marion Gatlin and Motee Ragle, all of Graham, Minnie Reeves of Plano; and many others who were loved by Maxine.
