Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Herbert Bergstrom officiating. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories. Mr. Lemons was born in Ringling, Okla. He graduated from Waurika High School. He retired after 40 years from Santa Fe Railway as an engineer. He was a decorated veteran of World War II. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, was a Mason, an Elk, and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He married Betty Giesler in 1945. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael Lemons, Patrick Lemons and Douglas Lemons; a sister, Kennie Roberts; and eight grandchildren. The body will not be available for viewing during service.
