Modena Lanelle Murphy

Modena Lanelle Murphy, 87, of Amarillo, died Sunday, April 13, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery 
with the Rev. Howard F.M. Childers, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian 
Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral 
Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mrs. Murphy was born in Fleetwood, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for 
more than 60 years. She was a cashier for Sears, Pantex and the telephone 
company before retiring. She was a member of the Christian church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rogie R. Murphy, in 1980.

Survivors include two sisters, Ozella Dunn of Greely, Colo., and Polly 
Dunn of Burns, Ore.

The family requests memorials be to the Will Rogers Range Riders, 6210 W. 
9th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79106; or a favorite charity.
