::New Velma Cemetery--Velma OK

Imogene McClanahan

VELMA - Imogene McClanahan, 96, a long time Velma resident, died Sunday,
April 27, 2003, in Wilkins Nursing Center.


Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Velma Church of Christ with
Lyndal Werner officiating.

Burial will be in the New Velma Cemetery under the direction of Bailes-
Polk Funeral Home.

Imogene was born April 11, 1907, in Sugden, to William A. and Hettie
Johnson Wilson. She married Otis McClanahan in Wichita Falls, Texas, and
he preceded her in death several years ago.

Mrs. McClanahan was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Velma Church
of Christ.

Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Bernice Loring
of Duncan, Gerald and Shirley Loring of Houma, La., Guy and Marie Loring
of Haughton, La., and Wayland and Mary Loring of Velma; 12 grandchildren;
several great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Bearers will be Kelby Loring, Jarryd Loring, Richard Loring, Perry Loring,
Craig Loring, William Loring and Ricky Loring.
